Rwandans may have to fasten their belts and be on the high alert as Covid-19 cases are just shy towards the 1000 infections per day.
On July 6 alone the country recorded 883 postive cases from over 6492 tests conducted. This is a troubling rise in daily infections despite the government’s imposition of a strict lockdown.
Since March last year, Rwanda has recorded 44279 infections and conducted 1,684,004 tests and reported 491 deaths due to the devastating Covid-19 pandemic.
On July 6 alone, the Rwanda government reported 12 deaths- a figure that is quite troubling compared to previous daily statistics.
