On January 3, 2024, General MK Mubarakh, Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Rwandan Defence Force (RDF), engaged in a series of high-level discussions during his visit to Islamabad, Pakistan.
The visit included a meeting with General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Pakistan Armed Forces, at the Joint Staff Headquarters.
Additionally, General Mubarakh met with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Jalil Jilani, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The rendezvous at the Joint Staff Headquarters primarily focused on strengthening military cooperation between the RDF and the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Discussions touched upon shared security challenges, military training initiatives, and collaborative efforts aimed at addressing contemporary global security issues.
