Dozens of golf players in Rwanda arrived early Saturday at Falcon Golf Club in rural Rwamagana district to tee off in one of the first post Covid-19 events in the country.
Golf players teed off from as early as 7AM and through to 11AM. The cyclists also received sports bikes and pedalled through the villages of Gishari sector overlooking the majestic fresh water Lake Muhazi.
At the event, lots of drinks, silent disco music, roasted fish and locally brewed coffee are all being served for the next two days. By press time, camp tents were being stretched out for those preparing to spend the night into the second day on Sunday.
The tournament organised by Taarifa Ltd and Falcon Golf Club is being held under strict guidelines aimed at preventing Covid-19.
