Police is holding two teachers in connection with beating students accusing them of celebrating Real Madrid win against Liverpool.

Real Madrid beat Liverpool 3-1 to emerge winners of Champions League Final played on Saturday in Kieve.

According to reports from Rwamagana, 21 students of TTC bicumbi were clobbered by two of their teachers for celebrating Real Madrid.

One student told TV1 that the teachers forced them to roll in mud and later beat them inflicting body bruises.

Mutanguha Emmanuel in charge of Rugoro health centre acknowledged receiving 21 students that had come for treatment from injuries on Saturday- 17 have so far been treated while others are still nursing wounds.

Nikuze Bernadette the principal at TTC Bicumbi, confirmed the incidence to Igihe.

The victory was Madrid’s third in a row in the tournament, a feat unseen in the competition since Bayern Munich won three consecutive European Cups from 1974-76.

It gave Madrid 13 titles over all, extending its Champions League record, and four in the past five years.

Liverpool, playing in the final for the first time since 2007, lost its star striker Mohamed Salah to a shoulder injury in the first half-hour, and while it gave a game effort — tying the score at 1-1 early in the second half — Real Madrid’s relentlessness and unmatched depth simply wore them down.
