President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi of Democratic Republic of Congo is today scheduled to travel to Lubumbashi the capital of Haut-Katanga province as part of a touring mission marked by economic, social, and institutional commitments.

According to Giscard Kusema, deputy director of presidential communications, the president will attend the Council of Ministers organized in the presence of the Prime Minister, Judith Suminwa.

Tshisekedi will also participate in the 9th edition of Expo Béton, a major economic event dedicated to promoting business opportunities.

“As in previous editions, the president will be there to encourage Congolese entrepreneurship by participating in the Expo Béton ceremony,” said Kusema.

Among the planned activities with a high social impact is the inauguration of a tertiary hospital center of the CNSS (National Institute of Social Security). According to initial field visits, the infrastructure is distinguished by its high level of modernity.

“I can assure you that this hospital center is unparalleled, not only in our country, but even in the surrounding countries,” he stated.
