Police shot and killed a burglar who was found drilling a hole through the wall of a house belonging to a RDF officer at Kabeza, Cyimo cell in Masaka Sector, an outskirt village of Kigali City.
The housebreak-in incidence happened early morning on Sunday at a residence of Capt. Pascal Gapasi.
CIP Umutesi Goretti, the Kigali City Police spokesperson, said the burglar attempted to stab a Police Officer at the site and another officer immediately shot at the burglar.
Meanwhile, on Saturday Police also shot and killed a thief who had snatched a Tecno phone from a pedestrian in Gitega sector.
The suspected thief was shot when he attempted to stab the pedestrian in the effort to escape.
