Parliament Sacks Evode Pending Court Case For Abusing Burundian Girl

Days are closing in on embattled a parliamentary employee in the names of Evode Mushingwamana who is facing a court case for allegedly abusing a Burundian girl.

Mushingwamana was fired by parliament in Monday evening following a public outcry demanding for his dismissal after his shortcomings surfaced.

“According to administrative procedures, Mr. Evode Mushingwamana has been suspended,” the Parliament said on it’s Twitter account on Monday evening.

He will appear in court on December 23 to hear the ruling on his charges filed by prosecution against him.

Mushingwamana is accused by Peri Niyibigira, a Burundian girl from a refugee camp for allegedly threatening to kill her after sexually abusing her and impregnating her.

Niyibigira’s case has been pending for almost two years.
