More than 350 participants, including government representatives, partners from various organizations, and private sector entities, have gathered for a three-day conference at the Kigali Marriott Hotel.
The conference, held in partnership with Rwanda Child, is focused on advancing the development of Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs across the country.
Under the theme “Nurturing Tomorrow: Advancing Sustainable Early Childhood Development,” the conference aims to address the critical aspects of child development, including mental, physical, and social well-being.
The initiative is designed to support children in growing up in a secure environment, while also equipping their families with the necessary knowledge and skills to foster their development.
Since its inception in 2013, Imbuto Foundation has been at the forefront of implementing integrated ECD services across Rwanda. These services have been rolled out in 30 districts, benefiting more than 185,997 children and their families.
The program has played a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being of young children, ensuring that they receive the support they need during their formative years.
The ongoing conference provides a platform for stakeholders to share insights, strategies, and best practices to further improve the reach and impact of ECD programs in Rwanda.
As the discussions continue, there is a strong focus on creating sustainable models that can be scaled to ensure every child in Rwanda has the opportunity to thrive.
Participants are expected to leave the conference with renewed commitment and actionable plans to enhance Early Childhood Development across the country, reinforcing Rwanda’s dedication to nurturing its youngest citizens for a brighter future.
