Harmonize in Rwanda To Record Music Projects

The Tanzanian artist and music entrepreneur Rajab Abdul Kahari also known as Harmonize arrived at Kigali International Airport last weekend where during his visit is expected to feature in musical recordings with one of the local artists.

According to sources, while in Rwanda Harmonize will work on the music project with Bruce Melody, a reputable Rwandan singer-songwriter and owner of Igitangaza records.

The Tanzanian RnB singer last visited Rwanda in 2018 in which, the Bongo Flava also worked on a musical recording with local singer Marinah in the song “Love You”.

It will be the second time for harmonize to do a collabo song with the Igitangaza proprietor following a feature “The Way You Are” released back in 2018.

Local producer, Robert  Mugisha also known as (Element) famously known for his professional touch when it comes to soundtrack production is vetted to work on the collabo song of Harmonize and Bruce Melody.

Sources also has it, the Bongo Flava artist will ink in other entertainment deals while in Rwanda.

“Bruce melody is a big name here in Rwanda. I think their meeting will be beyond musical collaborations,” Claude Uwihanganye, a local entertainment journalist disclosed to Taarifa.

“The artists will discuss expansion of the music industry as well as working on other businesses like preparing shows both in Rwanda and Tanzania,” he added.

According to sources, the Tanzanian singer has also come on the video recording deals as part of his travel to Rwanda.

“Music and video production in Tanzania for instance costs to expenditure accruing to $20,000 (Rwf21 million) compared to Rwanda which only needs Rwf1 million for senior artists. Therefore, he will exploit the visit to record a video song in Rwanda,” Uwiduhaye added.

Harmonize rose to fame in 2015 when he released his debut song Aiyola which put on the international limelight. The singer also featured with big names in his home country like Diamond Platnumz.

The singer is a recipient of the WatsUp TV Africa Music Video Awards for Best African Newcomer Video and African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) for Best Newcomer and African Entertainment Awards (AEAUSA) for Best New Artist which he won in 2016.
