On August 9, 2024, the leadership and staff of the National Electoral Commission (NEC) convened to assess the conduct of the 2024 elections. The evaluation focused on the Presidential and Parliamentary elections, with an emphasis on refining the management of future electoral processes.
During the meeting, NEC officials reviewed the overall execution of the elections, identifying key areas that performed well and others that require improvement. The discussions aimed to ensure that future elections are conducted with even greater efficiency, transparency, and integrity.
