(MTN Rwanda) has launched affordable 4G enabled smartphone, the ITEL A60 in partnership with ITEL Rwanda in a move to make 4G devices more affordable as well as to bring 4G services closer to its customers.
The smartphone device will be sold at all MTN Rwanda Service centres and selected Connect Shops and ITEL Rwanda retail stores at Rwf75,000.
The entry of this 4G device into the market reinforces MTN Rwanda’s overarching belief that everyone deserves the benefits of a modern connected life and tackles one of the barriers to access 4G connectivity, namely, affordability.
The ITEL A60 is embedded with 32GB+2GB memory, a 6.6 inche HD+ screen, a long-lasting battery life and high mega pixel camera specifications.
MTN Rwanda has also enhanced the deal with an inclusive offer of a FREE 1GB internet bundle per month, for a period of six months.

Desire Ruhinguka, MTN Rwanda’s acting Chief Consumer Digital Officer said during the launch at City Plaza, Nyarugenge District that, “We are excited to partner with ITEL Rwanda to launch the most affordable 4G enabled smartphone in the market. Customers can also purchase the Itel smartphone for as low as Rwf 335 in daily instalments through MTN Rwanda’s Macye Macye device financing program that was launched last year and was recently recognised in the GSMA Chairman’s awards as a program that is propelling digital inclusion.
