Ambassador Karega thanked the event organisers for awarding her Excellency Mrs Jeannette Kagame based on all her commitments and achievements and expressed his gratitude to have a First Lady of Excellence.
Rwanda has seen the importance and impact of promoting women where the leadership is committed to creating and continue ensuring a conducive environment for their growth and development through favorable policies and laws.
Rwanda is where it is today, mainly due to the fact that there has been a choice to promote the inclusion of women – as we could not to leave out over 50% of the population and expect sustainable development.
The First Lady’s role in the changes made is seen through her organisation, Imbuto
Foundation, where she is relentlessly working towards ensuring a Nation of dignified Rwandans, by engaging, educating and Empowering, especially the most vulnerable groups of the community.
