The reigning miss south Africa 2018 Tamaryn Green is shaking social media so hard that fashionistas and beauticians are constantly keeping hooked to her social media accounts.

And the 23-year-old medical student is very much aware of her command on social media platforms especially instagram boasting a whopping 42.5K followers.

Described as a humble person, Tamaryn is now a big sensation and many models are looking up to her.

“The only person you should compete with in life is yourself. We often make the mistake of comparing our worst to someone else’s best. Remember, once we embrace who we are, we are unstoppable,” Tamaryn says.

Tamaryn was crowned miss South Africa on Sunday at a glamorous event at the Sun Arena at Time Square in Pretoria.

Her message to young women is simple: “I want every girl to try and embrace who they are,” she explains.

“We are all different, and we should all just be comfortable in our skin.”

“I entered Miss South Africa because it has been a lifelong dream of mine. At first, I wanted to finish my studies to become a medical doctor but this year my heart guided me to enter the competition. It just felt right. My heart told me: “This Is Your Year”.

Importantly, as Miss SA I want to inspire and empower women to be the best version of themselves.

I want to show them that we have a voice and it can be heard, seen and valued! As a woman I believe there is a golden thread linking all women across the globe.

Together we should be able to uplift, inspire, nurture and educate the youth of our world.
