Kagame Delivers On Campaign Promise To Gicumbi District

The lives of 27000 homes have completely changed in three sectors of Gicumbi district after getting connected to a water supply grid.

Residents of Rutare, Rwamiko and Bukure Sectors in Gicumbi district complained of lack of clean piped water and requested President Paul Kagame intervention during campaigns in 2017.

Two years later, Gatabazi JMV the Governor of Northern Province took a guided tour at the newly built water supply station which cost Rwf 2,7Billion capable of supplying a piped network of 64kms.

Gicumbi District is famous for its gigantic steep hills making it difficult and expensive for establishment of water supply networks.
