US leader Donald Trump has revealed that the Ukrainian authorities are not yet showing enough willingness for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
“Well, right now, they haven’t shown it to the extent that they should. I think right now they haven’t, but I think they will, and I think it’s going to become evident over the next two to three days,” Trump said.
Meanwhile, SpaceX owner Elon Musk hinted on the potential collapse of the Ukrainian frontline if he decided to switch off the Starlink system.
Musk has said that the Starlink satellite system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army, adding that Kiev’s entire front line would collapse in case of the country’s disconnection from the system.
“My Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. Their entire front line would collapse if I turned it off,” he wrote on the X social network.
Celebrity entrepreneur also stated that he is “sickened by years of slaughter in a stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose.”
“Anyone who really cares, really thinks and really understands wants the meat grinder to stop,” Musk noted.
While aboard the presidential plane returning to Washington from Florida, he was asked whether the US would resume aid to Ukraine if Kiev signed an agreement with Washington on Ukrainian resources.
“Well, I think they would sign the minerals deal. But I want them to want peace,” Trump noted.
