Harmonize Paid Rwf250 million To Leave Wasafi Record label

Tanzania’s Rajab Abdul Kahali the magical artist and lead singer in Happy Birthday bongo flavor song has revealed that he is free like a bird and not part of the Wasafi Record label owned by Diamond Platinumz.

This artist opened up to Tanzania’s Clouds FM XXL show saying, he had to pay a total of Tshs 500 million (almost Rwf250million) to his boss so that he can leave but also keep with the Harmonise stage name that he has been identified with.

According to Harmonise, this was not an easy challenge, he had to sell some of his assets including three of his houses to pay up and now he is free as a bird to use any of his music produced under the WCB label.

However, at the look of things, he said he had to leave due to unreconcilable WCB and admitted that his relationship with Diamond is not rosy.

“WCB is open to anyone who decides to leave, we will not oppose anything, because if he follows all the procedures he will have a hundred per cent from the Sanctuary and whatever he wants to share anytime. You know when you leave in good terms it helps that the relationship is always there,” Wasafi management said.

Harmonise also said that he was to release his debut album late this year but because of various reasons, he will release it next year. This upcoming album he hinted will feature the likes of Jidenna, Morgan Heritage and Casanova.

His latest song is underway as he is currently in Kenya to release his first song under his Konde Gang management dubbed ‘Uno’.
