Unconfirmed reports say Everton has offered Rwandan international striker Ernest Sugira a quarter a million dollar deal. The 25-year-old is becoming a hotcake for his quality and prolific football both at home and internationally.
Ernest Sugira impressed just last week as he fired the Congolese AS Vita Club into the CAF Champions League with the first goal in a 2-0 victory over Gambia side Ports Authority.
AS Vita Club said they are “ready to listen to offers” for Sugira but are demanding for hefty price tag on the Rwandan striker.
Sugira is said to be planning to fly to England for a two week long trial before finalising a bid for the talented striker, but manager Ronald Koeman is believed to be “very impressed” with recent performances of the striker who is a hero in Rwanda.
Sugira has also attracted the interest of French clubs Rennes and Nice.
Taarifa tried to reach Sugira, but his contact was unavailable.
Some local media picked the story, but none confirmed its authenticity. We hope it is not a “Fake News”.
