Landry Masiri is the latest signings among the string of players on trials to join Rwanda Premier League team Kiyovu SC.
The Midfielder completed his transfer on August 15, 2019, to the Nyamirambo based side on a two-year contractual deal though the club was unwilling to reveal the exact amount they have paid for the Congolese player, the highly talented midfielder was plying his trade with AS Kabasha known as Sports Association Kabasha a football team from Goma.
Kiyovu SC believes, the signing of the midfielder will strengthen and boost the clubs central options when the 2019/2020 Rwanda Premier League kicks off on October 4, 2019.
Last season, as a young schoolboy of FC Nyiragongo, Landry Masiri scored a stunner and the only winning goal when AS Kabasha against DC Virunga.
Last season, Kiyovu SC finished in 5th position behind Police FC with 43 points out of 30 games played. They registered 12 wins, suffered 11 defeats and drew seven games.
It becomes the champion of the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2005 and is ranked among the leading clubs in the province of North Kivu. They play in the Linafoot. The club participated in the Confederation Cup in 2006.
