There word performance in a work place can be a terrifying subject. For decades, the subject has been a parameter for measuring one’s output in any organization.
KPIs and and APIs are the order of the day. And for may, those are nightmares. For others, especially employers, they are the saviours.
But is it indeed the only way to measure someone’s output? Hence the cause for studying and the subject.
One expert on these matters, an independent John Maxwell Certified Coach and a Lawyer by training, believes there is more to that than is understood.
She is on a mission to deemystiy performance.
With her organization, the KGT Insights invites you to an evening of stimulating conversations on March 2, 2020, at Hotel Villa Portofino, 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
KGT Insights is a Coaching and Training Company, founded by Gloria Karengera.
Owing to her work as a Lawyer, she saw her fair share of performance related conflicts in the work space that usually led to contract terminations.
She always wondered whether this was a case of judging a fish by its ability to climb a tree.
Her curiosity led her to look into performance and what makes some people better performers than others.
This journey led her to discover Coaching and she ultimately become a Coach with the John Maxwell Team.
The idea to host this event is in line with the vision Gloria has of demystifying performance.
She believes in the Albert Einstein quote that says, “Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that its stupid.”
