Amsterdam to Host World Data Summit in May

The Netherlands capital Amsterdam is preparing to host the World Data Summit from May17-19 aimed at helping better understand how to transform business with data analytics.

The annual growth of the data analytics market was valued at over 240 billion U.S. dollars in 2021, according to Statista.

The expectations are to increase the market value to over 650 billion U.S. dollars by 2029.

However, only 19 percent of Fortune 1000 companies say they established a data culture in their organisations while becoming a data-driven company is essential to succeed.

The conference attracting 24 speakers and more than 50 countries, will feature practical case studies and market overviews. Digging deeper into customer analytics or increasing technical knowledge by choosing a designated workshop day.

According to organisers, the key topics to be explored include;Data Governance in an Agile Environment,Data Literacy and Leadership: How to Create Frictionless Data Literacy for Business, Privacy, Ethics and Data in a Global Context.

Other topics are; Applications of ML in Improving Customer Experience, Success Factors for Data Warehouse Automation, Laying the Foundations for a Kappa Architecture and Full Open Source and Free Data Centric Distribution and more.

Meanwhile, effective Wednesday (March 29-30) Poland, Warsaw is hosting a Big Data conference at Marriot Hotel.

According to organisers, there will be plenary sessions with keynote and panels plus 4 parallel tracks divided into 8 major subject matters:

Architecture, Operations and Cloud
Data Engineering
Streaming and Real-Time Analytics
AI, ML and Data Science
Data Analytics, BI & Visualisa
Data Strategy and ROI tion
Academia, the incubating projects and POCs
The second part of the conference will contain over 20 roundtable discussions on various topics
