The 6th edition of Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) Grand Finale concluded today, celebrating the continent’s most innovative and impactful entrepreneurs.

The competition, an initiative of the Jack Ma Foundation’s Africa Netpreneur Prize, seeks to empower and support African business leaders who are driving change in their communities.

This year’s top winner is Henri Ousmane Gueye from Senegal, founder of Eyone Medical, a groundbreaking digital healthcare platform that connects patients with doctors and pharmacies, enhancing healthcare accessibility across the continent.

In second place is Dr. Salma Bougarrani from Morocco, founder of Green Watech, a company pioneering cost-effective and sustainable wastewater treatment solutions to tackle water scarcity and environmental concerns.

The third-place winner is Alexander Odhiambo from Kenya, founder of Solutech Limited, which provides sales force automation solutions to help businesses improve efficiency and streamline operations across Africa.

The winners were recognized not only for their business acumen but also for their commitment to solving critical problems in Africa. Jean Afrikan, CEO of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), commended the finalists for their resilience, creativity, and role in shaping Africa’s future.

“The spirit of entrepreneurship is alive and thriving across Africa. These innovators are not just building businesses; they are transforming industries and improving lives,” Afrikan noted.

As the ABH initiative continues to empower African entrepreneurs, this year’s winners are set to receive funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities to scale their impact. The competition remains a beacon of hope for aspiring business leaders, proving that innovation and determination can drive Africa’s economic and social transformation.
