Rwanda Gears Up to Host Africa CEO Forum 2026

Rwanda’s private sector and government officials have begun strategic discussions on preparations for the upcoming Africa CEO Forum 2026, which will be hosted in the country for the third time.

The high-level meeting is expected to bring together top business leaders, policymakers, and investors from across the continent and beyond.

During a consultative session, the Chief Executive Officer of the Rwanda Development Board, Jean-Guy Afrika, emphasized the significance of the forum as a major opportunity for Rwanda’s economic growth and global positioning.

He noted that hosting such a prestigious event not only strengthens Rwanda’s reputation as a business hub but also opens doors for local enterprises to connect with international investors.

“This forum is more than just a gathering, it is a gateway for Rwanda’s private sector to showcase its potential, attract investment, and build lasting partnerships that can drive sustainable growth,” he said.

On the side of the private sector, the Chairperson of the Rwanda Private Sector Federation, François Twagirumukiza, called on business leaders to take full advantage of the platform.

He urged entrepreneurs and companies to actively engage, form strategic alliances, and explore new markets for their products and services.

The Africa CEO Forum is widely regarded as one of the continent’s leading business events, offering a space for dialogue on economic transformation, innovation, and investment opportunities.

Rwanda’s consistent hosting of the forum underscores its growing influence in shaping Africa’s business landscape.

Expectations for Africa CEO Forum 2026

The 2026 edition is expected to:

Attract hundreds of CEOs, investors, and policymakers from across Africa and globally

Generate new investment deals and partnerships for Rwandan businesses
