Rwanda Boxing Federation President Bashir Ntwari emphasized the event’s long-term impact.

“Kigali Fight Night is about more than one night of boxing. It is about creating a pathway for Rwandan fighters to transition from amateur boxing into professional careers, compete in international tournaments, and gain global exposure,” says Bashir

He added, Events like this help us build the foundations of the sport by strengthening local clubs, developing talent, and moving toward the creation of a professional boxing competition in Rwanda.

The line-up promises thrilling matchups while showcasing the continent’s depth of boxing talent.

What sets Kigali Fight Night apart is its focus on developing Rwanda’s next generation of fighters.

Young Rwandan boxers will have the chance to compete alongside international athletes, gaining invaluable experience, exposure, and a pathway into professional boxing careers beyond the country.

The presence of internationally recognized coaches and trainers from the United States, United Kingdom, and Dubai provides a rare opportunity for mentorship, skill development, and scouting.

Beyond developing athletes, Kigali Fight Night also creates economic and business opportunities for the local community.

Free vendor spaces allow Rwandan entrepreneurs and small businesses to showcase their products and services to hundreds of attendees, supporting visibility, networking, and growth.

Blending sport with entertainment, the event will feature live music, DJ performances, and dramatic fighter walkouts, creating an electric ringside atmosphere that celebrates African athleticism and culture.

As Kigali continues to emerge as a destination for international sporting events, Kigali Fight Night signals Rwanda’s rise in professional boxing.

More importantly, it offers young Rwandan fighters a chance to step onto the global stage, gain recognition, and pursue international careers turning dreams into opportunities, one punch at a time.
