The UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday visited several individuals injured in the recent Iranian attacks who are receiving treatment in hospital, wishing them a speedy recovery and reassuring them of the country’s support.

During the visit, the President met five injured civilians — two Emiratis, one Indian, one Sudanese and one Iranian — stressing that all residents are part of the UAE family. “They are all our responsibility, and, God willing, they will make a full recovery,” he said.

Sheikh Mohamed emphasised that stability remains strong in the country despite the current circumstances, noting the unity shown by Emiratis and residents in following safety guidance issued by authorities. He praised the community for demonstrating solidarity during the ongoing conflict.

The President also thanked the UAE’s armed forces and security institutions — including the Ministry of Interior, security services and Civil Defence — for their role during what he described as “a time of war.”

“We will fulfil our duty because it is our obligation to protect our people and our country,” he said, adding that the UAE would defend its citizens and residents.

In a message directed at those threatening the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed stressed the nation’s resilience, saying the country may appear peaceful but “is no easy prey.”

He concluded by expressing confidence that the UAE would overcome the current challenges. “I promise everyone that we will emerge stronger than before,” he said.

Several injured individuals have already been discharged after receiving treatment.

Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan and other senior officials.
