Rwanda Strengthens Education Partnership with South Korea’s Daejin University

Rwanda and South Korea’s Daejin University are strengthening their cooperation in the education sector following a visit by the Rwandan Embassy to the university on Tuesday.

President Suk-Hwan Jang and the university’s leadership welcomed the delegation and held discussions focused on expanding academic collaboration.

Ambassador Nkubito Bakuramutsa said the engagement reflects Rwanda’s commitment to building international partnerships that support the country’s development goals.

He noted that the emerging cooperation with Daejin University will widen opportunities for Rwandan students and professionals.

“Our engagement with Daejin University marks an important step in widening opportunities for Rwandan students and professionals,” Ambassador Nkubito Bakuramutsa said.

“We look forward to building a strong, mutually beneficial partnership that will enhance knowledge exchange, research, and academic mobility between Rwanda and South Korea.”

Talks explored possibilities for student and faculty exchanges, joint academic programs, and broader knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Both sides agreed to pursue concrete frameworks that will anchor a long-term partnership.

The Embassy expressed optimism that the collaboration will create new avenues for academic growth, innovation, and stronger ties between Rwanda and South Korea.
