Tanzania has assured both domestic and international travelers that peace and stability have been fully restored across the country following recent post-election incidents.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, the government confirmed that social, economic, and tourism activities are proceeding normally throughout the country.
“As a committed member of the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), Tanzania upholds international standards to ensure the safety and well-being of all travelers,” the statement read.
The ministry emphasized that all entry and exit points—by air, land, sea, and rail—remain fully operational, and that tourism services across the country continue without disruption.
Travelers were encouraged to proceed with their plans to visit and explore Tanzania’s well-known natural attractions with confidence.
“The United Republic of Tanzania remains a peaceful, stable, and welcoming destination for tourism, business, and investment,” the ministry affirmed.
The advisory was signed by Nteghenjwa Hosseah, Head of the Government Communication Unit at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.
