Day six of the 2025 UCI Road World Championships saw the Men’s Junior Road Race transform the heart of Kigali into a stage of speed and endurance.

A field of 141 young riders from 71 nations set off on the 119.3-kilometre route, weaving past the city’s gleaming skyline and lush green hills.

Crowds gathered along the boulevards and neighbourhood streets, cheering as the peloton powered through Kigali’s iconic landmarks, from the dazzling Kigali Convention Centre to the tree-lined roads of Nyarutarama.

Against this breathtaking Rwandan backdrop, the world’s next generation of cycling talent put on a show of grit, determination, and international camaraderie—turning #Kigali2025 into a celebration of sport and the city’s vibrant spirit.
