Rwanda has introduced Ingazi, a free digital learning platform designed to equip young people with skills needed to enter and thrive in the labour market.

The platform, supported by the Government of Rwanda and UNICEF, offers courses in digital literacy, communication, entrepreneurship, leadership, and climate change awareness. The aim is to help youth transition from school to work, improve job readiness, and strengthen career growth opportunities.

Courses on Ingazi range from basic computer use and online communication to advanced topics such as adaptive leadership, entrepreneurship, and sustainable business practices. Learners also have access to soft skills training, including problem solving, teamwork, and effective listening.

Officials say the courses are free, flexible, and can be completed within weeks, allowing young people to quickly gain certificates that enhance their CVs and job prospects.

By providing accessible training opportunities, Ingazi is expected to reduce the gap between education and employment in Rwanda. Young people can register online and begin learning immediately at ingazi.rw/courses.
