Rwanda and Turkmenistan have officially established diplomatic relations following the signing of a Joint Communiqué between the two countries.
The agreement was signed by Rwanda’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Martin Ngoga, and his counterpart, Ambassador Aksoltan Ataeva, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN.
The establishment of formal ties marks a new chapter in bilateral engagement, laying the groundwork for future cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, education, and multilateral collaboration.
The signing took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, reflecting both nations’ commitment to strengthening global partnerships and expanding their diplomatic reach.
