4000 Delegates At Transform Africa Summit In Kigali

The long wait is over but you may need a simple jacket to join more than 4,000 participants gathering today at the Kigali Convention Centre for the fifth edition of Transform Africa Summit.

Starting today and for the next four days (14-17th May) technology enthusiasts are discussing dozens of new and improved technological innovations that continuously seek to simply life for human kind.

Policy makers, innovators, investors, tech giants, all under one roof with one agenda are conducting deliberations under an inspirational theme – “Boosting Africa’s digital Economy”.

Delegates are already gaining from a session organized by Germans GIZ that is presenting experiences from start-up nations on how to create an ecosystem For Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Some technologists are seeking to change the narrative that Africa is a consumer of science and technology. All this and more will be showcased throughout the four days of the summit.

The summit is also packed with thrilling performances including from the renowned Mafikizolo – it is the power of music and how transformational it can be.

Meanwhile, If you’re attending the Transform Africa Summit 2019, be sure to participate in the TAS Night Run happening this Wednesday, May 15 from 7pm. 5.4km of pure fun in Kigali’s roads.

The last four editions of Transform Africa Summit attracted a combined total of 15,000 delegates. Taarifa will take you through this fifth edition.
