Amin Miramago has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Private Sector Federation, replacing Stéphene Ruzibiza, who had led the organization since June 2015.
Before going to PSF, Ruzibiza served as Company Secretary at RwandAir.
Miramago joins PSF after serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda, where he played a key role in strengthening Rwanda’s financial governance systems.
During his tenure at ICPAR, he helped secure full membership in the International Federation of Accountants and contributed to national Public Financial Management reforms, particularly through the adoption of international public sector accounting standards to enhance transparency and accountability.
He has also represented Rwanda in global and regional platforms, including engagements with international accountancy bodies and collaboration with the East African Community to harmonize professional standards.
Miramago is widely recognized for advocating the role of accountants as custodians of public trust and for expanding Rwanda’s professional accountant base from fewer than ten to more than 1,200.
His appointment comes as the Private Sector Federation continues to play a central role in advancing Rwanda’s private sector development and economic growth.
