Reports reaching Taarifa investigative Desk show that a second operational unit at one of the refineries operated by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) was bombed by a drone Thursday morning.

The company said in a statement earlier today that one of the operational units at Mina Abdullah Refinery was targeted this morning by a drone.

The attack led to a fire at the site. The company added that emergency and rapid response teams were immediately deployed to contain the fire.

The company had said earlier today that one of its operational units at Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery was also targeted this morning by a drone.
