The second Rwanda–Nordic and Baltic Business Forum has begun, bringing together policymakers, investors, and institutions to strengthen cooperation in education, innovation, trade, and sustainable development.

The two-day event gathers business and education leaders from Rwanda and the Nordic and Baltic regions to discuss investment opportunities and partnerships in key sectors.

Building on the success of the first forum, this year’s meeting aims to deepen collaboration and promote knowledge exchange between the participating regions. It is organised by the Embassy of Rwanda to the Nordic and Baltic Countries in partnership with the Rwanda Development Board.

The forum also features curated matchmaking sessions designed to connect companies and institutions and open new avenues for partnerships and investment.

Benefits for Rwanda

The forum is expected to bring several benefits to Rwanda. By connecting local businesses with Nordic and Baltic investors, it can attract foreign investment that supports economic growth and job creation.

It also provides opportunities for knowledge and technology transfer, especially in areas such as innovation, green technology, and education—sectors where Nordic and Baltic countries have strong expertise.

In addition, the meeting strengthens Rwanda’s international trade relationships and promotes the country as an attractive destination for business and investment.

Officials say the forum will help Rwanda expand global partnerships and support its long-term goals of sustainable development and economic transformation.
