The handlers of Nigerian President have rejected claims of a plot to Poison the country’s leader according to local press.
A chef attached to the Presidential palace is alleged to have planned to poison President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The allegations are contained in a video circulating on social media. In the video the Chef is said to have been arrested by security apparatus.
“Security operatives had swooped on a member of the presidential kitchen staff following intelligence reports of suspicious activities linked to food preparation within restricted areas of the Villa,” the video alleges.
However, the Presidency on Sunday dismissed as false a viral video alleging that a chef attached to the Presidential Villa had been arrested.
Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy,described the video as “fake news.”
