Uganda’s ragga star Douglas Mayanja, popularly known as Weasel, has sparked widespread discussion after an emotional video of him pleading with his baby mama, Sandra Teta, went viral on social media.
In the video circulating across Ugandan platforms, Weasel is seen playing with their children as he emotionally asks them whether they miss their mother.
At one point, the singer directly addresses Sandra, accusing her of being influenced by his friends, whom he claims have long desired her affection.
He also alleges that she left with his phone, but insists he is willing to forgive and move forward for the sake of their children.
“I know my friends took you away from me, and you went with my phone. It’s okay. Please come back home, and we can raise our children together. I still love you no matter what,” Weasel says in the video.
Weasel and Sandra Teta’s relationship has long been described as turbulent and controversial. Sandra, a former Rwandan beauty queen, has previously accused the singer of womanizing.
Last year, their disputes reportedly escalated into a violent confrontation at a bar, during which Sandra allegedly injured Weasel’s leg during a scuffle.
