President Paul Kagame has congratulated President Mamadi Doumbouya on his election as President of the Republic of Guinea, reaffirming Rwanda’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
In a message shared publicly, President Kagame described President Doumbouya as “my brother” and expressed Rwanda’s readiness to deepen cooperation with Guinea. He noted that the two nations look forward to working closely together to advance shared priorities and promote the prosperity of their peoples.
The message underscores Rwanda’s broader diplomatic engagement across Africa and its emphasis on partnerships centered on development, stability, and mutual benefit.
Relations between Rwanda and Guinea have in recent years focused on strengthening political cooperation and exploring opportunities for collaboration in areas of common interest, including governance, economic development, and regional integration.
