Reports indicate that DJ Toxxyk was involved in a tragic road accident that claimed the life of a traffic police officer in the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident is said to have occurred around 4:00 a.m. as the DJ was leaving Kigali Universe, a popular nightlife spot located in the city center.
According to available information, the traffic police officer had stopped DJ Toxxyk for a routine traffic check. However, the deejay allegedly failed to comply with the stop order and continued driving. In the process, he reportedly knocked down the officer, who died on the spot.
Sources further allege that DJ Toxxyk may have been driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. Authorities have not yet released an official statement, and investigations into the matter are reportedly ongoing.
