Rwanda Agro exports fetched a whooping U$12.5Million worth of revenue in just five days (Dec 8-12).
The National Agriculture Export Development Board (NAEB) said much of the revenue was generated from premium coffee to a range of diversified products, the sector is thriving.
At the beginning of December, Rwanda participated in the Marrakech Coffee & Tea Festival in Morocco.
Rwandan exhibitors showcased various coffee and tea brands which attracted several participants making first hand taste of the thrilling flavours.
Meanwhile, Rwanda’s coffee exports earned U$116 million in the 2024/2025 marketing season, setting a new record for the country’s coffee industry, according to NAEB.
According to details NAEB said the amount marks a 47.39% increase from U$78.7 million in the previous year.

NAEB attributed to growth in coffee revenues to two factors: First, coffee output grew 25% to 21,000 tonnes, supported by the maturity of replanted coffee trees, which expanded exportable volumes.
NAEB also argues that the coffee sector has benefited from a global upward price adjustments.
For example the Arabica coffee prices doubled during the period, rising from 189.9 cents per pound U$4.10/kg in April 2024 to U$8.01/kg by March 2025.
