A delegation from the Rwandan Defence Forces (RDF), led by Army Chief of Staff Major General Vincent Nyakarundi, has embarked on a four-day working visit to Morocco.
Today, Major General Nyakarundi was received at FAR Headquarters in Rabat by Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces (FAR).
The meeting included bilateral discussions aimed at further strengthening cooperation between the two countries, following the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on defence cooperation.
During a subsequent working session, both RDF and FAR representatives presented their education and training programmes, as well as the RDF’s ongoing contributions to regional and international peace and security.
The visit underscores Rwanda and Morocco’s commitment to enhancing military collaboration and knowledge exchange in the defence sector.
