Airtel Rwanda has announced the appointment of Sujay Chakrabarti as its new Managing Director, with a pledge to bring fresh energy, higher standards, and more innovations to the telecom operator.
In a statement introducing him, Airtel Rwanda said Chakrabarti is stepping into the role with a clear vision to improve customer and staff experience. “We raise the bar in giving fantastic experience to our customers and staff. Here’s to higher standards, fresh energy, and a future full of innovations,” he said.
The appointment comes as the telecom sector in Rwanda continues to grow and diversify, with operators competing to expand services and deliver better value to subscribers.
Chakrabarti’s leadership is expected to focus on innovation, digital transformation, and strengthening Airtel Rwanda’s market presence while also enhancing the customer experience.
