Goalie Yves Kimenyi Out Of Ethiopian Game

Rwanda-Amavubi national goal keeper Yves Kimenyi will miss the first leg of African National Championship (CHAN) qualify slated this Sunday.

The 27-year-old Rayon Sports goal keeper, has been side lined by head coach Vincent Mashami to avoid any recupations following this travel identity concerns.

The players has two differing years of birth on his current and previous travel transport passport. An issue that has impelled local football body Ferwafa and the coach to drop him to avoid a risk of getting banned by FIFA-Caf.

The reason is because his current and previous passport  has two differing years of birth one shows he was born in 1992 while the other shows 1996.

Analysts believe, both the local football body Ferwafa and local clubs should take the blame, implicating the issue to be age fraud.

The other players who is doubtful for the game is skipper Haruna Niyonzima who is facing a similar issue, though the local football body Ferwafa has noted, his problem might be sorted out before the game against Ethiopia.
