The women Div1 UNIMONI Rwanda Cricket Association Premier League 2019 will commence with Oasis cricket club taking on Charity at Kicukiro Oval on Saturday.
A wounded Oasis will need to be at their best if they have to take down Charity in order to secure a second victory of the tournament.
They are rooted second at the bottom of this pool. In six games they have won one and lost five. They have a low winning rate of 16.7%.
Charity cricket club, on the other hand, has won four games out of nine. This weekend game means they only have to assemble their best players to avoid a second defeat of the tournament.
All eyes will be placed on their star -stubbed Guinness record holder and experienced national team player Cathia Uwamahoro, Maria Diane Bimenyimana and Immaculate Nyakisuyi.
Oasis will reply on Josiane Niyonizera, Shadia Tuyiringire and Ilene Mugabekazi to score the runs beyond these three. There is little resistance Oasis can line up against a strong Charity bowling attack.
However, with an 80% winning rate, it is unlikely that the stats record will change this weekend.
