Tanzania’s KMC FC Cashes In For Fismissed APR FC Captain, Migi

After being sacked by Military side APR Football Club a few days ago, skipper Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza will now feature in the Tanzania Premier League next season.

Kinondoni Municipal Council Football Club, locally known as KMC has cashed in for the Rwandan mid-fielder, signing him as a free agent this Wednesday for a year.

Three-time CECAFA Kagame Cup winners APR FC dismissed 16 players including the captain and 15 fellows over poor performance.

The decision was taken by APR body but was announced by the team vice president Gen Mubaraka Muganga on Friday, June 28, 2019.

Migi rejoined his home side for US$1500 (about Rwf 1.3m) per month.

He left Rwanda in 2015 for Tanzanian Azam FC but after a season, in December 2016, he was freed and signed for Gor Mahia in Kenya.

Regarded as the most experienced player in Amavubi, Migi’s transfer to KMC will add more experience in the newly formed Tz side which is featuring the CECAFA Kagame Club champions in Rwanda.
