Rwanda’s Irembo has received a global recognition as a digital solution that has enormous impact on the lives of ordinary citizens.
Faith Keza, the Chief Executive Officer of Irembo, is currently in Cascais, a coastal resort town in Portugal, to receive an award at the ongoing World Summit Awards (WSA).
She tweeted that she was ; in beautiful Cascais to receive IremboGov ‘s award as one of the 40 digital solutions making real impact in the world and increasing access and inclusivity.
“So much inspiration from innovators from over 25 countries here today,” she said.
The WSA is a global competition for the most innovative tech-startups that support the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Irembo is a portal that facilitates government to digitally extend services to citizens.
It is currently hosting 89 government services online with the ultimate target of turning Rwanda into a paperless society.
