Rwandan Among Ethiopian Plane Crash Victims

Emerging reports indicate that a Rwandan who was working with the UNHCR in Sudan was among the 157 victims on-board Ethiopian Airline which crashed Sunday Morning on its way to Kenya.

Jackson Musoni, who we can not yet fully confirm to be the identified victim, has been working as an Associate Field Coordinator (Protection) at UNHCR in Sudan.

Previously he worked with Foreign Affairs Ministry in Rwanda between 2011 and 2013.

He has left a family of a wife, a daughter and a son.

Musoni was among 157 passengers killed in the plane crash including 32 Kenyans, 18 Canadians, 9 Ethiopians, 8 Italians, 8 Chinese, 8 Americans, 7 Britons, 7 French, 6 Egyptians, 5 Dutch and others.

The plane is said to have crashed at Bishoftu, 60km (37 miles) SE of Addis Ababa.
