About 50 have died after a petroleum truck collided with another car and burst instantly, in Western Democratic Republic of Congo.
The accident took place near Kisantu town, between Kinshasa and Matadi port.
According to Radio Okapi, Governor of the Central Congo Province, Atou Matabuana announced that fire flames rose higher, burning into flames nearby houses.
The deadlier accident in DRC last happened in 2010 when 220 people died.
That time, a truck that ferried petroleum overturned and burnt to ashes, destroying multiple properties.
Kisantu town is located 12 kilometers from Kinshasa.
