Museveni’s Daughter Directs New Film On 1986 War

She has been very low key in the clothing art industry producing exclusive dresses for the elite and famous people but this time she is going to be on your television screen for long.

Natasha Museveni is the daughter of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni. In a new film -27 GUNS, Natasha is telling the story of her father, the sacrifices he made to liberate Uganda.

Critiques say, there are increasing cracks in Museveni’s government which cropped up in 1986 after five years of a protracted military war that ousted the Milton Obote regime.

The new movie is seen by some as a form of diffusing the growing unrest in Uganda and an effort to divert attention from the cracks within his government.
