New Legislators Introduced To Parliament

Rwanda’s new parliament officially begun legislative business on Monday six days after new lawmakers took oath.

According to Parliament, the legislators of the chamber of deputies will spend an entire week being introduced to functioning of the parliament and acquainting themselves with rules, procedures and related in-house details.

“Today, MPs of the Rwanda Chamber of Deputies are to start an Induction Week in which they will be trained about various subjects such as functioning of the Parliament, especially the Chamber of Deputies, procedures and use of technology to fulfill their responsibilities,” Parliament announced Monday morning.
