Dozens Injured In Mogadishu Bomb Explosion

A large explosion was heard in the Somali capital on Monday near the Presidents house –Villa Somalia.

Witnesses at the scene told reporters that they saw a car parking at the gates of District headquarters which suddenly exploded ripping through the gates of the district office.

Buildings nearby also were crashed hitting several people nearby and trapping others inside.

Gunfire was also heard, indicating an exchange of fire between attackers and defenders of the centre.
