Rwanda National Police Churns Out New 413 Officer Cadets

Public peace, security and stability are very crucial for Rwanda’s socio-economic transformation and this requires highly trained and disciplined National police.

Johnstone Busingye , the Justice Minister has commissioned 413 Officer Cadets at Gishari based Police Training School (PTS) in Rwamagana district.

The Officer Cadets were also conferred upon a rank of “Assistant Inspector of Police”.

“Rwanda can only achieve the peace and security that we want if we develop and sustain our capabilities,” Minister Busingye said at pass out of the 10th intake.

According to Commandant of PTS, CP Vianney Nshimiyimana, “The 413 officer cadets exhibited high level of discipline and professionalism during the Cadet Course. They acquired all the necessary skills and capabilities to effectively execute RNP duties.”

Also gracing the Cadet Officer pass out parade included others ministers, Inspector General of Police Emmanuel K Gasana and Senior officers of the Rwanda Defence Force.
